Version 2.01. Who we are
The Värdevia RFNBO Diagnostic (“the Diagnostic”) is provided by Värdevia Oy, a private limited company registered in Finland, business identity code 3544262-6, Kaanaankatu 6A5, Helsinki. Contact: info@vardevia.fi.
2. What the Diagnostic is, and what it is not
The Diagnostic is a self-assessment tool delivered as part of Värdevia’s practice. It asks you a series of questions about a hydrogen or e-fuel project and returns an indicative view of where evidence gaps sit against the requirements of the Renewable Energy Directive, associated delegated regulations, and voluntary certification schemes.
It is not: a certification or any step in a certification process; an audit, audit opinion, or pre-audit; a determination by a certification body; legal, regulatory, engineering or financial advice; or a guarantee of any outcome in a certification audit.
Certification decisions are made only by a certification body recognised by the European Commission under a voluntary scheme. Nothing produced by the Diagnostic binds any certification body, competent authority, or scheme owner.
3. Results depend entirely on what you tell us
The Diagnostic scores the answers you give. It does not verify them, inspect any document, visit any site, or check any claim against an external source. If an answer is inaccurate or incomplete, the result will be too. Results are indicative and are valid only in relation to the regulatory position as we understood it on the date the report was generated. Requirements change; the report does not update itself.
4. Your responsibilities
You confirm that you are using the Diagnostic in a professional capacity, that you are entitled to provide the information you enter, and that doing so does not breach any confidentiality obligation you owe to your employer or to a third party. Do not enter information you are not free to share, and do not enter personal data about third parties without a lawful basis for doing so.
5. Provided as part of practice delivery
The Diagnostic is provided as part of Värdevia’s engagement with clients and prospective clients. We may change, suspend or withdraw it at any time and do not guarantee continuous availability.
6. Intellectual property
The question set, scoring methodology, report structure and all accompanying material are the property of Värdevia Oy. You may use your own report freely within your organisation and share it with your advisers and certification body. You may not reproduce, resell or make the Diagnostic itself available to others as a service. Regulatory texts, standards and scheme documents referenced in the Diagnostic remain the property of their respective owners and are cited for reference only.
7. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by Finnish law, Värdevia Oy accepts no liability for any loss or damage arising from reliance on the Diagnostic or its output, including any delay to, cost of, or failure in a certification process. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Finland. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Helsinki District Court.
9. Changes
We may amend these terms. The version in force is the one published here at the time you use the Diagnostic. Last updated: 29 September 2026.
